As a trained Clinical Reflexologist, I offer a holistic, non-invasive approach to clients who are seeking relief from problematic, acute or chronic symptoms. Reflexology is based on the principle that every part of the body is interconnected with the feet and hands (as well as ears and face), serving as a pathway to balance and restore the body's natural harmony. By stimulating specific reflex points, reflexology can relieve stress, ease tension and promote overall wellbeing. An experienced reflexologist is able to identify from the feet, areas of the body that are affected by changing physiology of current, previous or impending pathologies.I specialise in Women's Health, including all four Trimesters of Pregnancy and Maternity and baby and child reflexology from newborn to teenagers. Appointments can be made through my website at my private practice Uta Sempf Reflexology or at Victoria Park Osteopaths in Victoria Park in East London. I also practice at the London Health Clinic, 38 Lombard Street in the City of London.
About Bioelectricity, Biomagnetism and Reflexology
Our feet are the most important sensory organ in our body, providing sensory information to every part of the body. Each foot contains over 200,000 nerve endings, 107 ligaments 19 muscles and 40 trillion cells. Every cell is its own little battery with its now little voltage providing electricity with immense power to restore the body's homeostasis.
Bioelectricity is the electrical activity in all living cells, tissues and organisms that store metabolic energy. Biogmagnetism is the study of the interaction between biological systems and electromagnetic fields, including those produced by living cells, tissues or organisms.
A reflexologist does not diagnose, treat or cure conditions, but supports the body's innate healing mechanism to restore balance at cellular level.
TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
I trained at the London School of Massage, The London School of Reflexology at Regent’s University, CityLit, The Akademie für Sport und Gesundheit, Frankfurt, Germany, Sally Earlam Reflexology, Golden Egg Holistics and Jubilee College. My qualifications include: Conception, Pregnancy & Maternity, Baby & Child Reflexology, Reflexology for Menopause, Advanced Face Reflexology, Hand Reflexology, Spinal Reflexology.
Clinical Reflexology Practitioner is a registered qualification and the highest qualification to be achieved in the UK. It is allied to subjects of nursing and integrated medicine and consists of working at a higher academic level including subject related research, the study of pathologies and a deeper understanding of theory and practical training through extensive case studies.
I am a Full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and insured to practice in the UK and the EU.
